Experience the mountain range Toubkal

Come and explore this magnificent mountain range in the High Atlas Mountains. The summit of Toubkal is the highest point in North Africa and lies in the Toubkal National Park. Rising in the west at the Atlantic Ocean, the High Atlas stretches east to the Moroccan-Algerian border.

Its immense height means that it acts as a weather barrier system, separating the Sahara's climate power and influence, and encouraging a variety of weather conditions. The North is host to rather Mediterranean climate, whilst at higher altitudes snow fall is a regular occurrence, and lasts till spring.

You’ll be trekking for 5-8 hours a day and will visit the most remote areas of the region. Venturing through sparsely scattered little villages, whose inhabitants way of life has been unaltered for centuries. Traveling over variety of terrains you will experience all sides of the Moroccan environment.

The tour is spread over 8 days so that several factors such as altitude and energy can be taken into account, allowing your body to acclimatise to make the trip all that more enjoyable, and of course so that the terrain can be explored in great detail. On the final day of the trek you will be the climb to the very top of Toubkal were the view is a breath taking experience.
